Description
Nendrum Monastic Site, County Down, Northern Ireland. Nendrum is thought to be the best example of a pre-Norman monastic site in Northern Ireland with ruins remaining from the original buildings. It is believed to have been set up by St. Machaoi in the %th Century and has also been linked to St. patrick.
