HMS Caroline was launched in 1914 and is the last remaining British WW1 light cruiser afloat. She is now a museum and visitor attraction in Belfast

I live in Bangor, Co. Down, Northern Ireland. Like many photographers I started when quite young and have taken pictures for as long as I can remember. In recent times I have been producing mainly monochrome images encouraged by the way light and shade play across a scene without the distraction of colour.
